Does Alcohol Consumption Can Lead to Throat Cancer?
Alcohol consumption is one of the most known factors for the increased
level of cancer in human beings, along with the intake of tobacco into the body
which always leads towards excess body weight. Thus, the Alcohol
Rehabilitation Centre in Mumbai and the Drug Rehabilitation
Centre in Mumbai, clarifies that alcohol stands to be the root cause of
cancer in the human body. Alcohol mainly accounts for about 6% of all the types
of cancer occurrences within our human body, where almost 4% of all cancer
deaths in the Indian region. The Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in Mumbai,
states the types of cancers which are mainly caused by alcohol consumption.
They are as follows:
●
Throat
●
Mouth
●
Oesophagus
●
Liver
●
Voice Box
●
Breast
●
Colon
●
Rectum
The consumption of alcohol also increases the risk of stomach cancer
as well which can also affect any other body part thus giving a rise to other
types of cancers as well. For each of the above-mentioned cancer types, the
more one consumes alcohol, the more they are at risk to get cancer at a higher
rate, however, in the case of breast cancer, the consumption of a small amount
of alcohol too, can thus increase a serious risk.
●
Cancers of Mouth, Voice Box, Throat and
Oesophagus: As more than million
people on the earth consume alcohol while smoking which together raises the
sincere risk for development of cancer than the moment when one is either
smoking or drinking alone. This situation occurs as alcohol usually helps
harmful chemicals in the tobacco to get inside the cells which are connected in
the mouth, throat and near the oesophagus of the individual. Alcohol also
limits the processing of these cells and at times can completely damage the DNA
processing which is mainly caused because of the harmful tobacco chemicals.
●
Liver Cancer: The long-term addiction to alcohol usually
increases the direct risk of liver damage, as regular consumption can lead to
serious problems of scarring and inflammation inside the inner walls of the
liver and stomach, which thus increase the problem of liver cancer.
●
Breast Cancer: Drinking even a small amount of alcohol is
directly related with the increased rate risk of breast cancer in the female
body. Because, the consumption of alcohol mainly increases the level of
oestrogen in the body, which is also not important and harmful for the body.
Thus, it is mainly advised for the female body to immediately stop the
consumption, or at times decrease the level of drinking.
